everything she says about where she comes from makes me wonder if setting it all on fire isn't that bad an idea. few people from her world here too. keeping an eye out.

her magic is impressive. she keeps warning about the dangers but long as she's willing to teach, i'll keep up with the lessons.

has a lot of growing up to do. maybe eventually he'll learn actions offer better cred than just talking about it and expecting people to listen.

mel doesn't trust him. after the little shower he tossed on me, can't blame her. wouldn't trust him to hold an elevator, much less the magic he's packing. could've killed me that first night. either it was intentional which is an obvious issue; or it wasn't, which is much worse.

she knows nate from that other place he mentioned - hadriel. pretty sure he's worried i'll stab her when she's not looking. even if i were going to, would bet on getting blasted before even getting close.
